Clara Fain

Clara Fain is the CFO of VIA. VIA is revolutionizing public transit, from a regulated system of rigid routes and schedules to a fully dynamic, on-demand system. VIA's technology powers networks of shared shuttles in New York City, Chicago and Washington DC where VIA operates directly and around the world where VIA licenses its technology to transportation players and cities. VIA recently raised a Series D round led by Mercedes-Benz in Q4 2017 and announced a joint-venture with Mercedes-Benz in Europe. Prior to VIA, Clara was a Vice-President in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs focused on the division's private equity activities in the consumer and TMT sectors. Clara began her career as an investment banker at Rothschild in Paris.

Born and raised in Paris, France, Clara earned a MSc from Mines Paris Tech, one of the leading French engineering schools. Clara lives in New York City with her husband, Max, and their two sons, Simon and Joshua.
